Ans:
EAI or Enterprise Applications Integration can be defined as data that can be integrated from disparate applications regardless of the platform, allowing the sharing of business processes amongst multiple organizations.
This can be put it in another ways as -
" Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) is an integration framework composed of a collection of technologies and services which form a middleware to enable integration of systems and applications across the enterprise."
2. What are the challenges for EAI?
Ans:
One large challenge of EAI is that the various systems that need to be linked together often reside on different operating systems, use different database solutions and different computer languages, and in some cases are legacy systems that are no longer supported by the vendor who originally created them. In some cases, such systems consist of components that have been jammed together in a way that makes it very hard to modify them in any way.

EAI - Enterprise Applications Integration

3. Mention purpose of EAI?
Ans:
EAI can be used for different purposes:
- Data integration: Ensures that information in multiple systems is kept consistent. This is also known as Enterprise Information Integration (EII).
- Vendor independence: Extracts business policies or rules from applications and implements them in the EAI system, so that even if one of the business applications is replaced with a different vendor's application, the business rules do not have to be re-implemented.
- Common facade: An EAI system can front-end a cluster of applications, providing a single consistent access interface to these applications and shielding users from having to learn to use different software packages.
4.What are the Major categories of EAI?
Ans:
Integration can be at different application layers:
Integration can be at different application layers:
- Data Level Integration:
- Batch data transfer, OR
- On-line propagation of data updates
- API Level Integration:
- Data is accessed through published API services
- Service Method Level Integration:
- Common services shared by different applications
- User Interface Level Integration:The controller reacts to the user input. It creates and sets the model.
- Common user interface (e.g. web based) for unified access to multiple applications.
5.What are the Advantages of EAI?
Ans:
Advantages of EAI solutions are:
Advantages of EAI solutions are:
- Streamlines business processes and helps raise organizational efficiency.
- Real time information access among systems.
- Maintains information integrity across multiple systems.
- Speedier transactions at reduced costs.
- If one of the applications misbehaves and requires to be shut down for maintenance, then with EAI, we can easily “decouple” it from rest of the systems. Which avoids having to bring down other systems.
Ans:
The main disadvatages of using EAI systems:
The main disadvatages of using EAI systems:
- Constant change: The very nature of EAI is dynamic and requires dynamic project managers to manage their implementation.
- Lack of EAI experts : EAI requires knowledge of many issues and technical aspects.
- EAI is a tool paradigm: EAI is not a tool, but rather a system and should be implemented as such.
- Building interfaces is an art : Engineering the solution is not sufficient. Solutions need to be negotiated with user departments to reach a common consensus on the final outcome. A lack of consensus on interface designs leads to excessive effort to map between various systems data requirements.
- Loss of detail : Information that seemed unimportant at an earlier stage may become crucial later.
- Accountability : Since so many departments have many conflicting requirements, there should be clear accountability for the system's final structure.

Crop Circles are unexplained designs (mostly combinations of circles) that are imprinted over a short span of time (usually one night) in fields of mostly wheat and corn.
Crop Circle - Design in the field

The other fields where these circles have appeared are barley, oats, rape (canola), grass, trees, and even snow. They occur in crops during the spring & summer seasons throughout various regions of the world, such as in the U.S., Canada, throughout Europe, South America, Asia and Australia. For the thousands reported every year, the vast majority go completely undetected. Most of the complex formations occur in the United Kingdom and they are also more likely to be detected because of the country's smaller land mass.
The earliest known formation was in 1647 in England. They began to appear in significant numbers in the early 70's as individual circles that swired either clockwise, or counter-clockwise. A major transformation occured in 1990 when the circles became more complex pictograms composed of straight lines, angles and spiral rings.
Various researches were conducted in this phenomenon and a number of observations have also been made over the years that finally seem to indicate that there are particular characteristics that "genuine" (or non-mandmade) formations appear to exhibit.
Not only does the physical appearance of the plants and soil seem to change, but there is change at the molecular level. Research has been conducted over a ten year period with samples and thorough laboratory testing carried out by the biophysicist Dr. Levengood, Nancy Talbott, and John Burks -- the BLT Research Team, and a small army of volunteers worldwide. Their findings include enlarged cell walls, expulsion cavities in the nodes of the plant stalks, significantly extended node lengths, and changes to the soil composition (ie. vastly higher level of magnetite concentration) from samples taken within the crop formations in contrast to the control samples taken from outside the circles.

Junk Food, where we are going?
Junk food makes you forgetful
Eating junk food could harm the memory and may even lead to brain damage, a study has found.
Foods laden with sugar and fat appear to reduce levels of a natural brain chemical crucial for learning, say scientists. People whose diets are high in fat and sugar could unwittingly be harming their minds.
The study, carried out at the is published in the journal Neuroscience.
A team led by neurosurgeon Fernando Gomez-Pinilla of UCLA carried out a series of experiments on rats.
One group of rats was fed a high-fat, high-sugar diet and allowed no exercise for two months.
The second had the same diet but could exercise on a wheel.
The third had a healthy diet and the fourth a healthy diet plus exercise.
The rats fed fatty, sugary foods fared significantly worse than those given healthy foods. However, exercise appeared to counteract the harm caused by too much junk food.
The rats in the first group were found to have a reduced level of a brain chemical called BDNF, which protects the adult brain from damage and allows it to respond to stimuli.
In order to learn or remember, the brain converts electrical impulses into chemical impulses, in a process called a synapse. A lack of BDNF affects the responsiveness of the brain during synapse - and this is associated with cognitive decline.
In memory tests involving a water maze, the rats on the high-fat diet were less able to remember to swim to a platform.
When the platform was removed, the rats on the healthy diet plus exercise spent 70 per cent of their time swimming where the platform had been - as if they were looking for it.
Those on the healthy diet alone spent half their time swimming where the platform should be, as did the rats on a high-fat diet plus exercise.
But the junk food-only group seemed to swim randomly around the pool, demonstrating their poor memory.

First Chirp of Baaz, A bird in danger
Welcome world.
I just remember the famous dialogue from the strategy game "War Craft 3", where the prince repeatedly says-"Atlast...Finally"...
So I too say now "Atlast ..finally ..I am on the blogs.."
Yes I admit I am here influenced by some one whose blog here only inspired me to write one for me too...(.although I have it already some where on internet since long time...just google masbaaz's blog ..lolz).
So in my introductory post I am not at all careful. The care has gone for oil purchase.....I mean "Tel Lene".
chalo phir aaj itna hi ...
Luv,
